The award-winning South Pasadena Strings Program offers high-quality music instruction to students ranging in age from 3 ½ through adult. The program has earned many honors, and our ensembles have appeared on national television.

Summer 2009 Schedule

We are offering classes in Violin, Viola, Cello, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Flute, Guitar, Choir (2 levels), Orchestra (3 levels), Piano, KinderPiano®, and KinderViolin™, KinderStrings® Cello, Music Theory, Ear Training and Certificate of Merit programs. In April of 2009, the South Pasadena Children's Orchestra performed at a prestigious, invitation-only festival at Carnegie Hall in New York City, where they earned top honors. This year we received the World Record for the youngest orchestra (ages 5 to 12) ever recorded to perform at Carnegie Hall. The orchestra has been featured on NBC television and ABC's Eye on LA.
